| Uxmal (U-sh-mal) was amazing, one of the best sites to see in Mexico, especially if you are into archaeology. It is not so crowded as Chichen Itza and Teotihuacan, and still the buildings are restored very well. You can admire the beauty and grandeur of the mayans without being pushed around by tourists who want to climb to the top of the pyramid (check the Chichen Itza artcile which is coming soon and the Teotihuacan one :)). Kabah was a smaller, but still a very nice site also. The god masks on the buildings were exquisite. |
